A Story that I’m Proud Of

In my time with the national nonprofit, River Network, I was able to work with community leaders around the country. Arthur Johnson, the CEO of the Lower Ninth Ward Center for Sustainable Engagement and Development, was one leader that I worked with in several different circles. We are still in touch today. In March of 2023, I visited the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans and wrote a story about the work that Arthur is doing there in collaboration with his community. It was one of the most impactful trips that I have taken in my life.
